For those that are just dying to know, Geros has reached level 49. He is about to sit unattended for a week while I study for exams. Well, that’s the plan at any rate. Somehow I expect that I’ll check-in on him from time to time.
Geros hit level 40 over the weekend. I got my mount (a black stallion) and went for a ride. But, since then, my addiction to the game entered a new phase: I no longer feel this pressing need to advance my character. See, having the mount is a very liberating thing because it allows you to get around the game world faster, but it also frees me from the need to keep playing so that I can get my mount. The next milestones in the game are levels 50 and 60, but already there is a ton of game content available to me. Consequently, I’ve been playing a little less. And if I can’t round up a group to do something I want to do, then I basically say hello to my guildmates, ask if anyone needs help with anything, and logoff to do other things.
My addiction to World of Warcraft has entered a new phase. I no longer have the need to be “on” for quite so many hours. Instead, I now sit around and scheme ways to make money by researching drops and trade skills on thottbot. BTW, my hunter Kires is on the backburner. I’ve mostly permanently switched to the Draenor realm because of the support I get from the guild that Sunil brought me into. So, look for a level 32 priest named Geros.
Also, I introduced John to WoW when I was home over spring break. Despite starting two weeks after me, by the time I returned from Rome John had already passed my level… and I thought I played too much!
World of Warcraft arrived two days ago, and it has pretty much taken up all my free time when I’m home. I guess this isn’t such a bad thing: I’ve basically traded watching TV, movies, and my nightly reading for the game. But, my level 10 night elf hunter is named Kires, and you can find him in the Dalaron realm.
In order to be able to play with Sunil also, I now have a human priest in Draenor. The priest is a bit more of a struggle to start with. But, hopefully that will change soon.
