not many people know that Schroedinger actually kept bats, and for fun he would pit them in hand-on-hand combat against his cats. the losers got experimented on.

I like your Fireworks entry. There is a company in Pittsburgh PA who designs fireworks and they do free shows for weeks prior to July 4th when they do big cities like NYC and Boston, just “test” the timing of the program and how the music will match. It is hugely complicated, but software makes it a lot easier. Like the “stage” in Flash or After Effects, you can cue timing, music etc…
takes the guess work out of it.
