There’s a book called Getting Things Done which is generating a lot of excitement among blog community. I must admit that I’ve never felt particularly unable to generate, categorize, and act on those things which I want to do, but I bet that I could learn some useful tips from a big-picture book like this. I’ll have to consider putting it on my “to read” list.
Did you ever get around to reading it? The ironic thing would be if you didn’t have time to, or you were just not managing time well enough to get to it. I’ve read the book, but I am too damn disorganized to actually implement it.
I actually don’t even own a copy. I have just heard about it and I regularly read a blog called 43 Folders which has tips/suggestions for doing things in a GTD sort of way. I like to think that I know enough of the content of the book by now through other sources that I don’t need to read it.
